The best way to play capture the flag in Black Ops.

I hardly ever play capture the flag because I forget how much fun it is....When played right. Most of the time it is played by a bunch of teammates who are really playing team deathmatch or free for all and your team ends up losing.

There is a simple way to win 90% of the time in Capture the flag, that is unless the other team knows this also.

1. Head towards the base when your team gets the flag and protect it.

2. If you happen to pass the team mate with the flag....FRICKEN escort him to base.

If you play it this way you almost always win. The act of gaurding the base gets you more caps because that is mainly where the flagrunner gets killed, near the base. There is no need to be by their base camping to get a selfish flag run. The more people on your team near and aroung your own base when you have the other teams flag, the better.

The playstation network obviously has a cocaine problem. Who else would lie so much?

For the last 10 days I have heard that the psn network would be back online tomorrow, well 5000 tomorrows later and still no Black Ops killfest. I am getting to the point where I can't believe a thing they say.

I am without netflix now since some random update crashed my hard drive on the ps3, This is getting to be a real bad slice of my life. I had to reformat the hdd and now have no account to be forced to update when it finally gets on. SUXORZ! Remeber 133t speak? anyone?

Well here is to the PSN network being back online May 6 2011 but don't hold your breath or your controller because they lie more than cheating girlfriends over at sony.

We are into our thirty-leventh day without the playstation network and I am nearly out of food. I have gathered all the dining room chairs and made kindling in an attempt to keep warm and my spirits up. Foraging for food went a little better today, so I will be getting vitamin and minerals in my system. The network is still down and no communications from anyone in over thirty-eleven days, so i fear many have perished.

Seen signs of happiness to the east - assumed Japan had PSN network up and running a quick search proved me wrong. Happiness must be mirage. Hearing rumors that Nintendo network is down also but no one seem able to confirm this as no one cares.
One word of advice, be careful attempting to log in I have heard rumors that there are people dying of starvation from not being able to stop trying.

If anyone is listening keep your head up, we will rebuild like we always do and Dam the big corporations and their poisons.

It took the PSN network being down for us to finally get Bin Laden. The whole world is playing black ops.

Since the outage my Playstation 3 is just a giant $300 netflix router.

I can't believe that its only been days since the PSN network went down - seems like weeks. They must be counting in christmas eve time?

Please fix the network sony, am spending too much time with my family and getting far too productive at work. PSN YOU ARE RUINING MY LIFE!!!!

My PS3 is under attack - Had to reformat disk lost all info - Netflix support bassackwards.

I just turned my Ps3 on this morning and all my data is corrupted, tried restore with no luck. It worked fine when I cut it off 5 hours ago. Got an update for some reason yesterday, went ahead an accepted it since the online connectivity does work still and now this this morning, no PS3. I figured I'd rather have my PS3 back working than the useless information that wont work anyway when and if sony ever gets PSN back online.

Guess what? I think it was a attack on my personal ps3. My playstation no longer worked untill i fixed it, now I don't have and can't get netflix. UBERGAY!!!!

I reformatted HDD and PS3 back working but netflix doesn't anymore. Contacted Netflix to see if there was anyway to DL (download) the netflix software to usb from NF website ... No luck, got the whole netflix doesn't work because PSN is down. So netflix employees aren't watching netflix on their ps3's because they can't get it to work???? Everyone else in the world can though?? ...moving on.

Netflix is apparently slow or morons. Suggested to the customer service girl that maybe she should suggest these tips to her employers and take credit for them. Told her how to connect to netflix even though the PSN network is down and about the whole download .exe files main website thing and then hung up.

TAking this time to tell you guys I was right about the whole PSN network being destroyed in my post on the 23rd. 4 days before sony admitted it.

The crazy thing is that I told the Netflix girl to post the files online so customers would not have to go without netflix for weeks at a time just because the PSN network is down... She thought I was a kook. She also told me that she can't get her netflix working on her playstation 3, I told her how to. The same as I told you guys last week. She doesn't believe me but I bet she tries and succeeds when she gets off work and regains some of her real-world IQ points back.

Sony PSN network up and working May 27 2011.

This network seems like it is never coming back on. I think this Sony PSN hack was masterminded by antidepression pharmaceutical industry.

The playstation network has been down for 19 months (feels like factor) and still hasn't told us die hard playstation users when to expect them to fix the raggedy bastid.

They should change their tagline to: Sony Playstation does everything...but frikken log on to its own network.

I mean come on Sony, we shelled out hard earned money to talk bad about people of other ethnicitys anonymously while we shoot them in the face online, I want my Black Ops back on. Some of us even have xbox 360's just sitting on the floor next to the playstation 3, I still haven't gotten around to playing anything on it since the hacked PSN network went down. Sony you do know you got PWN's right? Because you are acting like you didn't. Routine maintenance my eye.

Since the network went down all Sony has told us is ....Nothing Useful.

When you try to log in it just says ....nothing useful.

...But let the new $100 map pack come out and see how much info we get bombarded with.

We deserve better treatment sony. It's been 2 days and every Black Ops addict in the world is going crazy.

Sony just admitted that they were hacked and I am scared that I will have to start all over when it finally comes back online. I can't figure out a reason other than total destruction to the records that would take 2-3 days to repair.

I have been busy trying to make sense about it, it's a good thing they finally admitted to being pwned by anonymous. There are rumors that the psn network will be back online today April, 23, 2011 but it just seems like guesses because they all include since its been 2 days already in the prediction.

Homefront review PS3: Single player awesome, Multiplayer weak, slow.

homefront is awesome so don't let the bad press fool you.

I played the game after renting it from the local redbox ($2 a day) and finished it over that timeframe without even playing all night or anything. I player steadily though, afterwork, early morning, and the game is awesome, the storyline and ending were great. This single player is easily better than Black Ops (which I love) because the story was better and easier to follow.

I know I will get feedback for saying the single player was better than black ops but it just is. I really enjoyed the game, too bad it only took a few hours to finish.

The graphics were good but nowhere near Call Of Duty quality. I may just buy this game to have and hardly ever play because the multiplayer was crap the 2-3 time I attempted to play it in the course of the 2 days I had the game.

I could not understand the battlefield or the map.

The grenades were uber gay looking.

The over all game play was weak on multiplayer

The maps were too big and too few.

no telling, I may give it another chance on the strength of the single player game playbut as for now I think the homefront multiplayer experience is crap and would only play it if I had no Black Ops.

Why won't they fix the connection problems in PS3 Black Ops?

I have been playing Call Of Duty for a very long time online from the first , through Modern Warfare 2 and now Black Ops and I have never had as many problems as I have had with my connection and Playstation 3 as I have since Black Ops first started being my game of choice.

I know that there are problems in the house of the creators of black ops and modern warfare but I can't understand how they can feel that Black Ops surpasses Modern Warfare 2 at all. On Modern Warfare (Infinity Ward) I complained about connection problems but it wasn't until black ops that I truly realized how stable Modern Warfare is. If I wasn't such a die hard COD fan I would have to say that Black Ops sucks online. There is hardly ever a time when you can just power on your Playstation 3 and play a game, you have to go through try after try to connect to a server, and then pray that you get to do more than wait through a few count downs. Finally when you get in a game match you can never be sure you will make it to completion of that match, not to mention it seems to mess up when you are having your best game.

Now I am hearing rumors of new Maps (needed) but none concerning the connection problems. What good are new maps if you can't connect to them?

I have stated here several times that if Modern Warfare came out with a new game that my copy of Black Ops would instantly become a $70 frisbee, I feel that even more now. I probably have 5 days worth of gameplay under my belt but the only reason I am playing Black Ops is because I expected it to be more like a Modern Warfare 3 type of deal. The competition of levels and gaining points keep me playing but the game is nowhere near the level of a Modern Warfare. I don't know what Activision has planned for the future but they really need to fix the connection problems in Black Ops if they don't want to lose more players from their lobbies than they already have to the older version Modern Warfare 2 - I think about playing it again almost every day.

How to modify a ps3 controller, rapidfire in 5 minutes.

While I think that using a modified controller is cheating... I still wanted to make one just to say that I made one. The picture is not a rapidfire controller just a pic sent in by lightkiller (playername)

Not too long ago modifying a ps3 controller was somewhat difficult, you needed to solder and all kinds of crap to get it done, now with the intensafire controller rapid fire modifier kit you can have your rapid fire controller up and fragging in less than 10 minutes. Below are videos of how to install rapid fire in minutes and a video of actual game play using a modified rapid fire controller and also the link of the best place to buy it (about $50) I also incluse the links to buy the controllers already made from amazon. Allot of players are secretly using these controllers. Amazon only had 5 premodified controllers for sale when I wrote this post so if you want one.... they are $100 - cheaper than buying from me. I don't know how they do it but them I am not a superstore. I couldn't even do used ones for $100 - jeez. I should buy all the stock left because I sell them fast at $130-$150.

For the record I don't use them to play the game, I tried it a few rounds and ultimately put it down but I must admit that with a rapid fire modified controller I was litterally unstoppable. I learned this for the dole purpose of selling new modified controllers on craigslist and ebay. But the installation is do easy that I wanted to tell all the PS3 players that read my blog how to modify their own controllers for cheap and easily in minutes...
