Modern Warfare 2 on Playstation 3 is so much better.

I just got through playing Modern Warfare on Xbox 360 and it was no where near as good as playing on my playstation 3.

The graphics sucked.

The fact that it costs to play sucks.

The menu sucked.

There was far less people playing and the maps looked weird. I am never playing on xbox 360 ever again. All the people who don;t have a playstion 3, get one.

THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER MINUS THE PS3 OWNER JADEDNESS.

They are pretty much the eact same experience and look. The graphics are the same. the sounds, everything. The only pro for PS3 I can see is the PS3 is free to pla and has more players.

I recently played the New Game Heavy Rain on my PS3 console. I played the demo and it convinced me that I had to have this full game. That is one of the things I love about my PS3 as opposed to my XBOX 360 - PS3 is a console that you can have fun, extreme fun, on without ever buying one game for it, the internet is free as opposed to $8 a month for xbox live... which I think is ultra-gay. Since I got my Playstation 3 for christmas (love you kids) I have used my XBOX 360 gaming console for nothing more than watching Netflix in my bedroom. My XBOX system is officially benched for the remainder of the season. I even gave my daughter my living room XBOX 360 as a christmas gift. She can use all the over 40 games i have compiled and the internet adaptor (another gay thing, PS3 has built in wifi) and the cooling fans that you have to have to keep the console from stroking out on you. ANYWAY...

Heavy Rain is a great looking game with excellent gameplay, it truly is like playing in a movie, a HD ,Movie at that. I like the fact that it is nothing like any other game I have ever Played. this game gives you choice in every situation in the storyline, and the storyline is awesome. If you don't have a PS3...get one and then play the free heavy rain demo, i promise you will be amazed.

Of course I am still addicted to Modern Combat 2 so I only play other games occasionally and buying a new game was not even in my mind until I saw Heavy Rain. I thought about buying MAG but after testing it and finding it gay , distracting and confusing I am right back to Modern Combat 2. Look for me and make me a friend if you play on PS3 Husla3x is the name.

Playstation 3 noise: Prestige Mode on Modern Combat 2, worth it?

I recently went Prestige mode on Modern Combat 2 on my PS3 after reaching level 70 in rank. That means I went from A 70 rank (elite) back to a 1 (noob) on the game. I gave back all the weapons I had amassed over the month I have been playing the game online (best Shooting game Ever!!!) and had to join the fight with the crappy guns you start out with. The even took my special skills, equipment, grenades and perks. I hate it so much. I die like I can't play the game.

No Scopes

No Claymore bombs

No Akimbo or 2 guns

No speed adrenaline perk

No red dot to aim with...

If you were to ask me was it worth it, I would have to say that I don't really know because I hate that I don't pwn like I use to but it has made me play more often to get my rank back up. You gain a few things by being in prestige mode. You get the Prestige of showing others online playing that you are good by display a 13 prestige leve you are really displaying a 84 level, you are not to be taken lightly. All that is fine and dandy until you get stabbed turning a corner because you no longer have a heartbeat sensor on your weapon. Makes you want to scream. 2 times a minute over and over again. And again.

If you were to ask me if I would do it again I would say yes. You have to progress and to get better. Where before the high level players could not really play with the noobs so you seldom saw a 11 in a room full of 53's. Now I play in rooms with players who are good and everyone knows the only way to get good id to play with others who are better. I will be so good by the time I reach 70 again only this time in Prestige mode 1.

Pros

Once the player enters Prestige Mode for the first time in Modern Warfare 2, they will be rewarded with a sixth custom class slot. The same occurs at every odd prestige level, so a total of five additional custom class slots can be unlocked by Prestige Level 9. In addition, any earned titles and emblems obtained before entering Prestige Mode are not lost. You will get some Prestige Challenges to level up faster and get some new Callsigns.

Cons

If a player enters Prestige Mode in Modern Warfare 2, all unlocked weapons, killstreaks, perks and challenges will be reset. The challenges unlocked through Prestige for each gun, however, persist to the next Prestige level (the kills and headshots for each gun's Mastery and Veteran challenges do not reset). This exception also applies to the challenges in the Prestige category that deal with killstreaks (getting a certain number of kills with a specific killstreak reward). Titles, emblems, and accolades are also unaffected.

PlayStation 3 motion controller Delayed. Of course it is.

Sony has pushed back the release of its highly anticipated motion controller for its PlayStation 3 console until the autumn of 2010.

The controller, which tracks a player's body movements to play a game, was planned to go on sale in spring.

The delay will mean that it will launch around the same time as Microsoft's hands-free games controller, known as Project Natal, for its Xbox 360.

Unlike its rivals, Microsoft's Natal does not use a controller. Instead, a series of sensors allow the gamer to control the action using gestures, movement and speech.

It will be available in November this year.

See that's the thing with Sony, they always make a groundbreaking competiton owning system that has some weird sony only thing incorporated (can we say UMD? And you have to get theirs for a way high price. I love my PS3 but i could not use the bluetooth without it sounding crappy until i sprung the 30-40 bucks for a PS3 bluetooth headset.

Anyway I hope they hurry up. I am still waiting for my Keypad in the mail since the fricken 15th.

Cool note - it is so cool in Playstation home that you can invite friends to your house and lauch games with them there. Ps3 home is so much more than SIMS.

First off i want to tell you guys how awesome the PS3 is, Playstation 3 is the best gaming system ever to hit the market and I have had them all. Not only is it bluetooth compatible, which rokz by the way, but you can have a playstation 3 and never buy a game and still have hours and hours and hours... you get me, of fun on one.

I got mine as a gift with Modern Warfare 2, which they should rename "crack" and got addicted the very first day. After awhile I started looking for other things to do and found the Awesome web browser.

This (1) web browser is not the ordinary run of the mill gaming console trying to browse the web type of web browser. The PS3 web browser is awesome and is just as good as your computers web browser, better if you have a bluetooth keyboard or keypad. You can do youtube, twitter, anything, you can even do a google search right from your desktop (media bar)

After that I ventured to (2) Playstation home. Playstation home is the Sims like virtual world where PS3 owners can go and hang out. When I say hang out, I really mean hang-out. You can bown, video chat, play games, arcade and real world types like pool and darts and stuff - you can even make phone calls from your playstaion home home to other playstation owners home and have a conversation using your bluetooth, any bluetooth, headphone, not just sony brand bluetooth. I mean the space is so full of other people that you can nearly live there. You can go to malls, theaters, anywhere you would hang out in real life. This feature alone is worth buying a PS3 for and the best part is that it it absolutely free and installed by default on the playstation 3 system.

Then I downloaded some demo games from the (3) Playstation Store. The first game demo I downloaded was Fight Night 4 and then I proceeded to get my butt kicked by some guy in texas. That's right even the demo's allow you to go online and play - for - free, up yours XBOX360! I hate the fact that XBox charges for internet activities.

I have to be honest I did end up spending money for (4) netflix, I just had to have a jukebox full of movies on my Plasma Screen. Now I can watch any movie I want to anytime I want to and it only costs me $8 a month - the same as it costed me to even get online with my gay Xbox 360. Netflix rules - perfect streaming movies, any movie nearly, with no limit anytime I want.

I guess you see why the ultimate Xbox 360 gamer (me) has kicked it to the curb - I am with PS3 now and perfectly happy. Anyone know anyone who wants to buy an exbox360 and about 30 games and every accessory?

I am loving my playstation 3 and my xbox 360 is still only used for netflix in the bedroom except when I use the playstation 3 for netflix in the bedroom.

Ifyou havent got a playstation 3 and are still defending xbox 360 to the death.... Put that thing on craigslist ASAP and get yourself a playstation 3.

Recently I started signing on to Playstation HOME - free - and it is the ultimate in communication. I would describe playstation home as sims on steroids. There are dozens of games there, a movie theater where you can watch movies with friends in an actual virtual movie house. There is a mall and all sorts of other real world places to roam and talk and just have a great time. I am now hooked and my girl is hooked'er.

I like the fact that you can chat through your bluetooth headset - does xbox 360 have bluetooth? NO!! You can even get phone calls from other people in playstation home - every ps3 owner in the world - in your house on playstation home, yes they give you a luxury apartment, this free playstation app is awesome, free and already installed on your playstation 3. You can even live video chat with up to 6 different people at once. Go to meeting has nothing on playstation home.

This Ps3 keypad is actually the only accessory that I have yet to purchase, but believe as soon as i get enough ($50 approx) I will be clicking the Ps3 Keypad link to the left of this post/review/article, whatever.

This Keypad is essential if you want to fully utilize the playstation 3 system. In Playstation home ( a sims like environment that comes with the playstation by default only much more larger) application you will speak/type circles around your friends, and this makes messaging and emailing far easier than the onscreen (blahh) keyboard.
